Your test results are in.  The news doesn't sound good. You've been diagnosed. WHAT NOW?

A diagnosis can be serious and feel daunting, but rarely do either of those things make it emergency.

Not only is it critcal to know you philosophy of care before you seek treatment, i'ts critcal assemble your support team, with the right people knowing what specific tasks will help.  You have time to pause, think, ask questions, and create options to strategize your care.

  • How do you know what questions to ask when the doctor's words sound like a foreign language?
  • What happens when the plan for your care doesn't feel comfortable or right for you?

 

You aren't the specialist, but you can BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE by being informed, creating options and clearly communicating your informed choice to your loved ones and medical team.
