Dr. Rod Passman


Dr. Rod Passman is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He completed his fellowships in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology and a Masters Degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently a Professor of Medicine and Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Associate Director of the Electrophysiology Section at Northwestern, and Director of the Bluhm Cardiovascular Center for Atrial Fibrillation also at Northwestern. Dr. Passman is the Principle Investigator of Northwestern’s American Heart Association Strategically Focused Research Network grant in Atrial Fibrillation and has published 175 papers in cardiac electrophysiology. His research is funded by the NIH, AHA and industry. His current research interests include atrial fibrillation management and ablation, digital health, and stroke prevention in AF.
